PERMITS REQUIRED: Town of Lemonweir is ZONED. Town Zoning & Extraterritorial Zoning Permits and Building Permits are required for most new construction, additions or alterations, swimming pools, signs & businesses. A $500 fine may be imposed if violation is found. 

DRIVEWAY PERMITS are required to access any public town road—this includes farm field access. Call the town hall for more information or contact the City of Mauston Zoning Administrator regarding ETZ questions at 608-847-6676. All LAND DIVISIONS less than 35 acres, ZONING DISTRICT changes and ZONING ORDINANCE amendments must be approved by the Plan Commission and Town Board.
